Omni Demo
Released in 1976, the Omni was ARP's biggest seller. It is an analog synth with preset Orchestral String
sounds. It has polyphonic Violin and Viola waveforms as well as monophonic Bass and Cello waveforms. It is split into 3 sections:
Strings, Synthesizer, and Bass synth - all simultaneously available. It has traditional, and simple VCA, VCF, and LFO controls
for contouring your sounds, as well as a nice chorus, that really thickens up the string sound. The Omni has one main oscillator,
that is a divided down organ. It has no voices, in the standard sense like a prophet. There are no program
memeories either. The Omni 2 was released a year latter. Which is basicly the same as the omni but with some improvements.
I own an ARP Omni 1, and will gladly take questions regarding the omni. I am not a technican, so I may
not be able to answer all of your questions? If I can not answer your question? I will point you to someone who can. Just
click, the Contact Me link, to send me an email.

Here is a link to another omni web site, which has lots of useful information on the Omni.
